Celebrities often forget to be human when they become famous. They also forget that being human attracts more attention than being a celebrity. Luckily for us, Susan Boyle, a very much humble human being, stayed that way throughout her fame. This will teach us to always be humble.

She is no doubt one of the most beloved singers in the world, and I saw a news report on TV that said that Susan Boyle just got her very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, England. She showed the world that “Britain’s Got Talent, but she was even more humbled by this because she looked impressed with her likeness as it was unveiled at a special ceremony last April. Good for her.

The story of the underdog rising to the top has always been an inspirational one to many people. Susan Boyle was no exception. Her laid back nature and self belief is what made it possible for her to become the famous singer we now know. If we all take a leave out of her book, I’m certain we’ll make our own mark.

When you think of singers, you don’t exactly think of a person who looks like Mrs. Boyle. She is not exactly the glamorous looking you see make it in the music scene. But I guess that is what makes her all the more inspirational – because she looks like an average person. You could even say she looks like someone less blessed with looks, but endowed with the voice of an angel. It makes you root for her.

She certainly did make her mark on the world despite where she came from and the doubt she received when she stepped onto the stage during her first audition. This woman was sent to inspire people and to let them know now that they are capable of anything and everything.
